Overview
Maya Bay on Koh Phi Phi Leh is part of Hat Noppharat Thara–Mu Ko Phi Phi National Park. It became famous after the 2000 film The Beach.
Swimming in the bay is not allowed, visitor numbers are managed, and the bay closes for a period each year to let the ecosystem recover.

November to April. Check the annual closure dates.
