Privacy policy

What we store

• Your email address (to send sign-in codes and, if you opt in, reply notifications). Never shown publicly, never sold, no marketing emails.
• Your username, places you mark (with optional month/year only, never exact dates), comments and likes.
• The IP address and browser of sign-ins and comments, for security and spam prevention.

Cookies

Only strictly necessary cookies: a session cookie and, if you choose "keep me signed in", a sign-in cookie (up to 180 days). No ad or tracking cookies are set by the community features.

Who can see what

Comments and usernames are public. Your list of places is private unless you make your profile public. Totals ("120 travellers have been here") are anonymous.

Your rights

Download your data or delete your account at any time from your account page. Deleted data leaves our backups within 14 days.
