Overview
Delhi is No. 74 in Euromonitor International's Top 100 City Destinations Index 2025. India's capital region spreads along the Yamuna River and includes both the historic old city and New Delhi.
Three of its monuments, the Red Fort, Humayun's Tomb and the Qutub Minar, are UNESCO World Heritage Sites, and its markets and street food are legendary. The Taj Mahal in Agra is an easy day trip by train.

Best time to go
October to March is the best time, with warm days; nights can be chilly in December and January.
