Overview
The Fondation Louis Vuitton is No. 45 in The Art Newspaper's survey of the world's most visited art museums, with 1,570,000 visitors in 2025, up 30% on 2024. The private art foundation opened in 2014 in the Bois de Boulogne, next to the Jardin d'Acclimatation.
Its building by Frank Gehry is wrapped in twelve curved glass 'sails'. Inside, galleries show the foundation's collection of modern and contemporary art and major temporary exhibitions.
