Overview
Kutná Hora grew rich from silver mines in the Middle Ages, when it rivalled Prague in importance. Its historic centre, St Barbara's Church and the Cathedral of Our Lady at Sedlec are a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Its most unusual sight is the Sedlec Ossuary, a chapel decorated with the bones of thousands of people.
